What kind of things do you do in preparation for Fashion Week?
To prepare for fashion week, I start thinking about what Shows I hope to attend and then start planning out my schedule. I then schedule out time to visit various showrooms to pull pieces to wear during the week or I will wear a look from the designer to the show! There’s a lot of behind the scenes planning and preparation that goes on leading up to the week!
What fun things have you got planned in for Fashion Week?
This fashion week was a lot of fun, I got to attend so many shows which I loved like Nicole Miller, Sally Lapointe, and Cynthia Rowely, whilst also being able to attend cool events like the world premiere of “A Simple Favor” and the Vanity Fair Best Dressed List Party.
What trend(s) are you loving this season?
Currently I’m loving pairing chunky knits with fun sparkly skirts, I plan on wearing these well into the winter! Trends I’ve been at fashion week that I’m excited to try adding fringe, tons of leopard prints, and neon’s!
What's your favourite/least favourite parts of Fashion Week?
I love fashion Week because there’s nothing more exciting than seeing the collection live and in person. It’s also a great time to network and to be able to reconnect with your friends in the industry- it’s like a mini reunion!
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to make it in the influencer industry?
Find what sets you apart, what makes you different, and run with it! That is what will make you most successful, if you can find something that sets you apart! Be willing and ready to work really hard, and at the end of the day you have to love it!

What kind of things do you do in preparation for Fashion Week?
Rest! As much as possible. I just try to prep myself for sprinting around London in heels. I had a pedicure yesterday, I’m going for a sauna today and getting some good reading time in. Pampering myself to make sure I have high energy and look my best is so key to take LFW head on. I also wouldn’t be anywhere without the team behind me who organise my diary and make sure I’m at the best shows!
What fun things have you got planned in for Fashion Week?
That’s a surprise for now… and I’m so looking forward to spending my day on the Skinnydip Instagram to take you through exactly what I do in a typical day at LFW. Sadly, London isn’t quite there yet with including many plus girls in their shows, so I won’t be walking (this year anyway!), which is a double-edged sword really, as it means I can go to all the events, watch the shows, meet new people and just really enjoy going along without walking. Although there aren’t many things that beat the feeling of walking down a runway!
What trend(s) are you loving this season?
I’m totally obsessed with leopard print, I have an ankle pair from Office that I wear endlessly. I’m even thinking of teaming them with a leopard print shirt if I dare to… Also I’m getting a lot of use out of my All Saints leather jacket in this mid-season climate. I’m mainly seen in a modern day bad-Sandy, all-black ensemble, something that can take me from castings to dinner.
What's your favourite/least favourite parts of Fashion Week?
The best part has to be the energy in London, it’s completely frantic but so much fun and I enjoy the rush around town trying to get from an event to the next show. You also get treated very well by brands (there’s lots of freebies!) The worst part is probably how exhausted you feel after it’s all over, but it’s always worth it.
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to make it as a model in the fashion industry?
Get seriously familiar with rejection. Being rejected based on your appearance isn’t fun and there are periods where this happens over and over again. Also, you need to know what you want and how to ask for it. Also, always show up on time, remember people’s names, network like crazy and don’t take no for an answer.

What kind of things do you do in preparation for Fashion Week?
About a two weeks before I'll start thinking about a vague idea of what I'd like to wear so I have enough time to get an outfit I’m happy with together, then about a week before brands will start reaching out with invites (which I love to compare and share with my friends) and I'll put a vague schedule together!
What fun things have you got planned in for Fashion Week?
London comes alive during fashion week as there’s so much going on! I'm definitely going to head to a few parties and hopefully catch a couple shows but my favourite part of the experience is walking about near the strand and seeing all the street wear looks.
What trend(s) are you loving this season?
Neon’s, leopard print everything and plaid trousers.
What's your favourite/least favourite parts of Fashion Week?
Favourite part is getting to see people and brands that I'd normally just chat to online, least favourite thing is how sore my feet get after running around in heels all day.
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to make it in the influencer industry?
Consistency and - it sounds so obvious and generic - just be yourself! People want to see your individuality and personality and can see through it if you pretend to be something you're not!
