What does it take to be a designer at Skinnydip?
To be a designer at Skinnydip you have to be innovative, hardworking and ultimately a bit silly! (And be willing to put up with listening to a lot of spice girls/Justin beiber/insert garish pop song here...)
What’s a typical day like at Skinnydip?
I start by making myself a coffee (priorities) then have a look through my emails. We are currently working on bags for SS18 so I'll spend my day working on designs, reviewing samples or drawing up artwork.
What’s your favourite design you’ve ever come up with?
The Pom Mini Laureli, it's super cute and summery!
What’s your golden rule for all the aspiring designers out there?
A.) you need to be constantly on the look out for inspiration, I spend so much time trawling Pinterest/instagram/staring at people on the tube getting ideas. B.) it sounds kind of obvious but you have to really love design, it can be hard work sometimes so you have to really enjoy what you do.
If you had to join a band what would you name yourself?
I used to be in a band called Lorraine Lorraine (don't ask) so maybe we could do a reunion tour...

What Skinnydip product couldn’t you live without?
At the moment it would have to be my star hoop earrings from the Silver Pineapple Stud Earring Pack, I wear them every day!
