Accessories Designer

Location- Head office, Primrose Hill London

We’re looking for an experienced accessories designer to join and support managing the Skinnydip design team alongside the Head of Design. Experience with managing people and product ranges in essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on the tech, gifting a small accessories ranges
  • Creating graphics that will be used on small accessories.
  • Leads and mentors graphic design and small accessories team in creating and interpreting artwork to be adapted into a variety of exciting product applications.
  • Sourcing new fabrics/ trims.
  • Assists the head designer with application and sampling questions from the design team.
  • Leads graphic design from direction of Head of design by offering on- brand concepts that deliver regular newness to the customer.
  • Using innovation and initiative to grow the Skinnydip aesthetic.
  • Develop and present ranges, concepts and original artwork within context of product each season.
  • Chasing the design team to ensure pricing/ samples are on track.
  • Developing products with our far east suppliers.

What we need from you:

  • A BA degree in graphics/ fashion/ textiles/ accessories is needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years of design experience in the industry, preferably for a fashion or lifestyle brand.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the accessories markets and competitors.
  • A good knowledge about product construction and packaging construction.
  • Highly organised and motivated.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Comfortable working with office programmes ( Microsoft Excel, Word, etc).

Account Manager

Location: Head Office, Primrose Hill London

If you have a minimum of 2 year’s experience working for a supplier to high street retailers, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with factories, customers and other departments
  • Motivate and inspire others as well as being highly driven and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Ensure timely and successful delivery solutions according to customer needs and objectives

Assistant Branded Buyer

A brand-new position based at our head office; we are looking for a branded buyer to develop and grow this new area. This buyer will be responsible for sourcing new and innovative brands that will complement and enhance the Skinnydip range both online and in store ensuring our offering is on trend and original.

Responsibilities:

  • Range building the department to maximize sales opportunities
  • Presenting your selections to management
  • Analysing performance and reacting to sales & customer information

Assistant Graphic Designer for Accessories

Location: Head office, Primrose Hill London

We’re looking for an experienced graphic designer to join the Design team. Experience with using Abobe, illustrator and with working with far East factories and suppliers is preferable.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating graphics that will be used on small accessories.
  • Presenting your graphics on basic accessory blocks to the customer.
  • Spec’ing up designs and sending them to the Far East suppliers.
  • Requesting pricing and sample management.
  • Building strong relationships with buyers.

It is preferable that you have had experience in this area and have knowledge of both Photoshop and Capture One as well as working with Canon equipment. It is crucial that you are flexible and can support the E-commerce team and the Press Team with imagery.

Social Media & Events Coordinator

We have a new and exciting opportunity to work within the Skinnydip London creative team. The primary focus of this role is to assist the PR and Social Media Manager with all aspects of digital and social media along with events and blogger outreach. This individual will assist with the day-to-day operations of our digital profiles across all platforms to support Skinnydip’s online community. Duties will include, but are not limited to, content creation, social posting, event management & community management for Skinnydip. She/he will represent the consistent, ever-present brand message for markets within the social space, support the strategy and contribute at multiple levels to execute our always-on strategy across digital and social. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, friendly and goes the extra mile.

Responsibilities:

  • Create social media content, copywriting and strategy across social media platforms ensuring it’s on brand creatively and withholds tone of voice
  • Upload daily content on Skinnydip social media channels
  • Address and respond to daily customer inquiries on all social media platforms
  • Research and pitch content ideas while maintaining Skinnydip’s tone of voice
  • Collate up to date information on current social media trends and competitor activity
  • Plan and create YouTube videos, photoshoots and blog content for Skinnydip

Store & Fixture Designer

Location: Head Office, Primrose Hill London

Responsibilities:

STORE DESIGN

  • Designing new stores, source all required components and project managing shop fits.
  • Compare suppliers for most competitive pricing.
  • Work with contractors to realise designs.
  • Communicating and pushing contractors to ensure all critical path deadlines are met.
  • Design signage and outsource production.
  • Design all instore display including lighting and props.
  • Working out costs and keeping project within budget.
  • Creating critical paths for tradesmen and contractors and ensuring all developments run to deadlines.

 FIXTURE DESIGN

  • Designing fixtures and collaborating with suppliers to develop and produce units.

 WINDOW DISPLAY

  • Designing all window displays, sourcing and making props, designing vinyls.
  • Chasing approval on designs from relevant Heads of Departments.
  • Once designs have been approved by relevant Heads of Departments spec all designs and outsource production through suppliers.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure development runs on time.

Visual Merchandiser

We have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandiser to join Skinnydip. Overseeing visual standards across our stores and concessions we are looking for someone who can create inspiring and imaginative displays that will also maximise our sales opportunities!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop in store displays which reflect the Skinnydip brand.
  • Manage the ordering and organisation of all display materials.
  • Analyse sales information and react to it accordingly.

PR & Marketing Internship:

We are always on the lookout for brilliant interns for 4 week unpaid placements within the PR and Social Media department at our North London Head Office (Previous PR or Marketing experience is essential)

Responsibilities:

  • Help identify and engage topic influencers and brand advocates
  • Implementing the social media strategy across Skinnydip social media channels
  • Proactively looking for bloggers who align with the Skinnydip brand
  • Provide general support to the PR Manager including sourcing imagery, maintaining bank of imagery and an opportunity to create your own content

  • Support the Press Officer in managing press requests/ stock levels
