Accessories Designer

Location- Head office, Primrose Hill London

We’re looking for an experienced accessories designer to join and support managing the Skinnydip design team alongside the Head of Design. Experience with managing people and product ranges in essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on the tech, gifting a small accessories ranges
  • Creating graphics that will be used on small accessories.
  • Leads and mentors graphic design and small accessories team in creating and interpreting artwork to be adapted into a variety of exciting product applications.
  • Sourcing new fabrics/ trims.
  • Assists the head designer with application and sampling questions from the design team.
  • Leads graphic design from direction of Head of design by offering on- brand concepts that deliver regular newness to the customer.
  • Using innovation and initiative to grow the Skinnydip aesthetic.
  • Develop and present ranges, concepts and original artwork within context of product each season.
  • Chasing the design team to ensure pricing/ samples are on track.
  • Developing products with our far east suppliers.

What we need from you:

  • A BA degree in graphics/ fashion/ textiles/ accessories is needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years of design experience in the industry, preferably for a fashion or lifestyle brand.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the accessories markets and competitors.
  • A good knowledge about product construction and packaging construction.
  • Highly organised and motivated.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Assistant Account Manager

You will be based in Primrose Hill, London.

We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join the production team and assist the Senior Account Manager in securing timely and successful delivery for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with factories, customers and other departments
  • Being highly driven and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Report clearly the progress to internal departments and business executives
  • Assisting the Senior Account Manager in managing customer accounts, ensuring relationships are maintained and developed and that all accounts are serviced to a high standard
  • Attend critical path meetings with the production team regularly
  • Assist the Senior Account Manager to liaise regularly with factories and suppliers in China to ensure timely production and delivery of all orders

Assistant Graphic Designer

We’re looking for an experienced graphic designer to join the team. Experience with using Abobe illurstrator also with working with far East factories and suppliers is preferable.

Responsibilities include-

  • Creating graphics that will be used on small accessories.
  • Presenting your graphics on basic accessory blocks to the customer.
  • Specing up designs and sending them to the Far East suppliers.
  • Requesting pricing and sample management.
  • Building strong relationships with buyers.
  • Sourcing new fabrics/ trims.
  • Working on packaging nets.
  • General office admin.

    Brand Ambassador

    Buyers Admin Assistant

    An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Design Team, reporting to the head of design you will build relationships with production and design.

    Role Responsibilities-

    • Inputting data regarding SKUs, costing and RRPs from designer’s sample lists onto the master spreadsheet.
    • Chasing suppliers for cost prices and inputting data.
    • Negotiating and chasing cost prices from suppliers and inputting data.
    • Maintain the collection of samples for the department, ensuring product samples are received on time, are logged and returned or disposed of as necessary.
    • Responsible for the email sign off procedure and ensuring products are handed to the correct departments.
    • Administer the quality control process and liaise with the Design department, highlighting any quality issues with sampled product to the team.
    • Manage the Skinnydip critical path, highlighting any issues to the Head of Design and Head of Merchandising and implement any according adjustments.
    • Communicate efficiently and effectively between the Designers, Production, Merchandising and Suppliers with product updates and changes.
    • Supporting the merchandising and design team with any overflow admin work.

      Merchandising Admin Assistant

      Location: Head Office, Primrose Hill London 

      We are looking for a merchandising admin assistant to join the Buying and Merchandising team. You will need strong excel skills and experience of working in a fast paced environment. 

      Responsibilities:

      • Running Monday trade, daily sales, weekly and adhoc reports to support Merchandiser
      • Responsible for delivery schedule liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery dates are met, samples, are approved on time etc
      • Participating in trade meetings
      • Inputting intake and pending onto the WSSI, monthly WSSI analysis of intake and recodes
      • Setting up current performance analysis and spreadsheets for sign off meeting

It is preferable that you have had experience in this area and have knowledge of both Photoshop and Capture One as well as working with Canon equipment. It is crucial that you are flexible and can support the E-commerce team and the Press Team with imagery. 

      Responsibilities:

      • Fully support the E-commerce Team to keep on schedule with product uploads

We are looking for a Press Officer who is proactive, friendly and goes the extra mile.

      Responsibilities:

      • To support the PR Manager with organising and distributing seasonal campaign, press and news assets
      • Continue to grow a strong network of contacts including press, bloggers and celebrity
      • Contact media relations weekly and ensure all targets are met
      • Grow Skinnydip’s brand awareness by securing weekly/monthly/online coverage.

      The Role

          We are always on the lookout for brilliant interns for 4 week unpaid placements within the PR and Social Media department at our North London Head Office (Previous PR or Marketing experience is essential)

          Responsibilities:

          • Help identify and engage topic influencers and brand advocates
