Top Met Gala Looks 2023

One of the most talked about nights in fashion has arrived, the 2023 Met Gala, this year paying homage to the late fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld with attendees required dressing in honour of him, resulting in many mixed looks!

We've included below a run down of our favourite looks from this years gala! Consider the Met Gala red carpet to be a walking museum—these outfits are true works of art.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky

The queen of Met Gala outfits, Rihanna didn't fail to deliver this year, wearing Valentino she stuck to the theme showcasing a cocoon style jacket featuring the Chanel iconic flower, the Camellia, whilst also giving a nod to the classic Chanel bridal fashion. One for the history books!

Doja Cat

Doja Cat wasn't the only star paying tribute to Lagerfeld's famous feline, Choupette but we are here for this cosplay style. Complete with claws, this one is definitely aiming for that theme.

Pedro Pascal

Daddy Pedro & his knees have arrived! Our new favourite celeb hitting the red carpet at the moment rocking non other than a full Valentino look complete with branded nails. We're here for this but mainly because the office has a large crush on him & apparently his legs....

Bella Ramsey

And you can't talk about Pedro Pascal without mentioning Bella Ramsey. Rocking a Thom Browne suit with both skirt & pants, they smashed this look for their first ever Met Gala. We look forward to seeing what's to come.

Dua Lipa

As one of this years co-chairs, how can we not mention Dua Lipa? Stunning the crowd in a vintage Chanel white bridal look previously worn by Claudia Schiffer, we loved this look & it absolutely stunned her figure. Our only critique is that we wished she kept to the inspo and done some form of cute up-do with top hat!

Cardi B

Not only rocking 1 look, Cardi actually rocked 3 for the night, one for the Mark Hotel, one for the Red Carpet & one for the dinner. Overall we feel like she smashed the red carpet look, with Barbie doll energy but 90s Chanel aesthetic. We are here for this one.

Bad Bunny

We weren't the keenest on Kendall Jenner's Kris Jenner inspired look in the office but we loved watching Bad Bunny rock the red (or white) carpet. In the past we've usually seen a lot of male celebs not follow the theme but this year the guys weren't here to play especially with this 26 foot flower train by Jacquemus.

Janelle Monáe

Putting on a show reminding us of Lady Gaga's 2019 Met Gala strip tease was Janelle Monáe. We loved this Thom Browne costume change that felt very vintage chanel particularly with the nod to Choupette from the cat bag.

Teyana Taylor

Giving us an absolute serve was Teyana Taylor with this tweed suit again from Thom Browne. The hair. The glasses. The hips. We love.

Margaret Zhang

We are shook that we ended up having not one but two of the violin dress seen at the Met Gala. The vintage Chloe dress from 1983 was spotted on both Margaret Zhang & Olivia Wilde in black & white respectively. We think that both are stunning but we must admit, we're here for it on Margaret Zhang particularly rocking that blue hair.

Anna Wintour & Bill Nighy

And in our favourite news of the night, check out the hard launch of Anna Wintour & Bill Nighy as a couple. So if you really love (Billy) come on & let it show.

Which looks did you like at this years Met Gala? We're already starting the countdown for next years looks.
