We are looking for a passionate ad driven Production Coordinator to join our growing production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and successful deliveries to our stores and wholesale customers, whilst managing the product life cycle from order placement through to delivery to warehouse.
The Production part:
- Raise supplier orders and negotiate delivery dates and incoterms.
- Accurately update and maintain PO information and shipment schedule on internal worksheets.
- Proactively follow up orders weekly with factories and chase shipment samples, QC reports and any documents for approval prior to shipment.
- Book, approve and follow up order inspections with factories.
- At order placement, work closely with Design team and Wholesale team to review product and packaging requirements to ensure smooth transition into production.
- Manage customer testing and shipping portals.
- Establish and maintain close communication with factories to ensure smooth delivery and quality standard of goods.
- Manage factory compliance (audit reports) and approvals for licensed products.
- Quality check and measure shipment samples against approved PP samples and specs.
- Liaise with Merchandising and Design teams for commercial decisions on any quality issues and delivery delays that may arise, levy penalties to factories where required.
- Keep portals for Licensed products up to date: uploading production sample imagery and monitor distribution approval.
- Manage the Cosmetic Product Notification Portal and keep PIF files up to date.
- Check and approve supplier invoices.
- Work closely with the Production Admin Assistant, Senior Production Co-Ordinator and Production Manager
- Attend regular meetings with Suppliers, Wholesale and Merchandise teams.
Managing the day-to-day Freight function:
- Manage the weekly air and sea shipping plan.
- Negotiate monthly and spot rates with forwarders.
- Monitor and approve supplier bookings and deliveries into bonded warehouse.
- Work closely with the Merchandise manager and Wholesale team to make any necessary adjustments to the shipping forecast.
- Keep internal shipping worksheets and files up to date.
- Check shipping documents.
- Investigate delivery discrepancies.
- Update wholesale customer shipping portals, liaise with customer DC teams and arrange delivery into final destinations.
Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a busy production role
- Experience working with factories/ suppliers based in the Far East would be highly advantageous.
- Mandarin Chinese language ability a plus but not essential.
- Netsuite Experience a plus but not essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Proactive with problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills both externally and at all levels internally.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve.
- Enthusiastic, self-confident, and self-motivated.

We’re looking for an experienced Clothing and Gifting Designer to join our growing team with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Prior experience within a similar role is a necessity.
Responsibilities:
- Working with major retailers to design and develop products across but not limited to Clothing (jersey/nightwear/lounge) and gifting accessories.
- Creating bespoke packaging for products designed.
- Developing unique and creative ranges from initial mood board to final product.
- Drawing up CADs predominately via Microsoft Illustrator and then turning these into functional and technical design packs to be sent off to our suppliers to be made.
- Liaising closely with our suppliers in the Far East in ensuring products are developed correctly.
- Keeping a critical path and tracking/monitoring the product development process.
- Taking ownership of your accounts and working efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Conducting competitor research
- Closely working with other stakeholders in the business including wholesale account managers and our production team.
- Uploading designs for approvals on licensing systems
- Flagging issues and resolving technical design queries
- Assistance with ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in a design role ideally at a brand/retailer.
- Creative with a commercial eye.
- Strong within print and graphic design.
- Ideally would have experience working with licensed ranges.
- Highly proficient in Adobe packages with a strong emphasis on Adobe Illustrator,
- An understanding of the design and development process with experience working with Far East and Indian suppliers.
- Understanding on how to prioritise workload and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- A motivated team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and happy to work across different product categories

The role is based in our London Head Office but travelling is essential. We aim to build strong relationships with our retailers from head office to store teams
As a Concession Co-ordinator, you are expected to:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assume responsibility for the success of concessions within your areas, meeting and exceeding sales targets at every opportunity.
- Providing sales information and store feedback in the weekly retail meeting.
- Ensuring that you have information available for all concessions reporting to you.
- Creating visual plans & sales reports for host head office & store members using Excel & Power point.
- Ensuring that visual standards are maintained as per guidelines.
- Monitoring the location of Skinnydip fixtures in stores, making sure that the fixture is in the best location to maximise sales opportunities.
- Building strong working relationships with store managers and team leaders in store to help increase performance. Providing feedback to management after a visit to store.
- Liaising with Merchandising team to make sure your concessions are receiving the strongest stock package for each location.
- Ensuring that all staff members complete stock takes when requested in a timely manner and with clear, legible product details.
- Arranging pass outs, making bookings with DHL, tracking and confirming that the warehouse receive shipments and passing this information on to the allocation team.
- Organising sale launches, checking that all lines have been marked down accordingly.
- Regular visits to concessions; travelling is essential.
- Creating your own weekly plans for store visits & booking own travel.

Our Industry Experience Work Placements are a great way for Students and recent graduates to come into our Studio and gain real life industry experience of what happens behind the scenes in fashion retail. As part of this programme, we ensure that candidates are given the opportunity to take part in any and all areas of the business that they are interested in.
This spans across design, production, marketing, buying, merchandising, sales and much more. Candidates will also be given the opportunity to be mentored by our founders and senior management team so they can leave with significant industry knowledge and experience and hopefully improve their chances of succeeding at building a career within the fashion industry. Work Placements range from 1-4 weeks maximum. Our work placements are not paid, but we do cover all travel expenses.
