We’re looking for a skilled Design Manager to join the team. This role will manage the development of the Skinnydip design team and report directly into the Head of Design. Previous experience within a Fashion/Accessories retailer is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Motiving the team to design and develop fun and innovative product
  • Helping manage our team of designs alongside with the Head of design
  • Monitoring the teams performance & progression
  • Coaching and mentoring individuals to improve their craft and quality
  • Working closely with the head of design to oversee workloads and being able to delegate around the team if needed to help with team perform to the best of their abilities
  • Working with Head of design to translate our creative vision into physical products
  • Stepping in when needed to help team with chasing the factories for samples and being on top of deadlines
  • Developing products with our far east suppliers.
  • Working closely with License partners, helping designing ranges and uploading ranges to their dedicated systems and making sure everything’s on track
  • Liaising with our account managers on exclusive projects and delegating this to the team

 

What we need from you:

 

  • A BA degree in graphics/ fashion/ textiles/ accessories is needed.
  • Experience as a designer yourself, including implementing and managing design process
  • Experience managing designers of all skill levels and growing a design team
  • Experience working in a fast pace environment
  • The ability to develop and drive improvement of process, craft & quality
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills
  • To be up to date with all recent social, fashion trends and emerging trends
  • A good knowledge and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Comfortable working with office programs ( Microsoft Excel, Word, etc).

Our wholesale team is growing, and we are looking for a passionate Account Manager to help continue driving Skinnydip forward! The role will be based at our Head Office in Camden, London and the ideal candidate will need to have had experience working within a fast-paced company in a similar position. The role will see you managing and working with some of the biggest retailers across the globe, with the aim of growing our Skinnydip offering within their stores. If you are a driven and motivated individual up for the challenge of working within a rapidly growing lifestyle style brand, then this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility in maintaining existing relationships with key retail partners, selling in our seasonal collections, and maximising new business opportunities with each partner.
  • Driving forward business development with new retail partners.
  • Solid understanding of the production process and Critical Path Management
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery solutions according to each customer’s needs and objectives.
  • Report clearly the progress to internal departments and business executives.
  • Ensuring customer relationships are maintained and developed
  • Liaise regularly with our suppliers in the Far East/EU/UK to ensure timely production and delivery of all orders.
  • Retain a very good relationship with Merchandising and Design Team to ensure any production/delivery issues are dealt with and all orders run smoothly.
  • Manage your shipping schedule/packing lists and invoices in a timely and efficient manner.

What we need from you?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in working in a similar role, preferably within the fashion or beauty industry.
  • Highly Driven and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of the order, production, shipping and invoice process.
  • Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels internally.
  • Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work on an individual level as well as a team environment.

The focus of this role is to support and manage our team of Account Managers who are responsible for looking after the company’s key wholesale customers. This is a challenging yet exciting opportunity that will involve you dealing directly with the many retailers across the world that Skinnydip partner with, helping to manage the growth of the business by developing key existing relationships and forging new relationships through expert business development.

For this role, it is essential that you are extremely organised, with incredible attention to detail whilst still having a positive personality. Managing people and getting the best out of a team must be second nature for you and it is integral you have significant prior experience working with major retailers on a wholesale business model.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for shaping, planning, and executing wholesale strategy. 
  • Overseeing all wholesale accounts; managing and working alongside our team of account managers to maximise potential with each customer.

  • Nurture and develop existing accounts both domestically and internationally.
  • Managing the whole PO process from start to finish.
  • Ensuring that the Account Managers are compliant with company procedure, driving sales, hitting KPIs and that all their deliveries are completed on time.
  • Working closely with the Production & Design team, to keep updated on the Skinnydip ranges production and development.
  • Manage existing customer base ensuring they are up to date with bestsellers, new products, and exclusive lines on offer, in order to maximise potential sales.
  • Resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Offering resolutions and solutions to team members when there are issues.
  • Working directly and indirectly with the team and relevant buyers on range selection, visual merchandising to increase sales and sell through rates.
  • Management of range selection and price negotiation with customers.
  • Responsible for the training and development of Account Managers.
  • Managing team performance reviews, sickness and attendance.
  • Communication with senior stakeholders across the business, attending internal and external meetings when necessary.
  • Daily reporting into the Director responsible for Sales / Account Management & Production

 What we need from you?

  • Significant Sales and Account Management experience, preferably within a fashion retailer.
  • Experience leading a team of Junior/Account Managers highly advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design & production procedures and the complete product life cycle.
  • A complete understanding of the intricacies of supplier relationships.
  • Excellent telephone manner, outstanding vocabulary skills.
  • Exceptional organisation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office package – especially Excel and Power point

You will be responsible for a small team, and you will oversee all customer communications, processes and systems and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands on day-to-day leadership and support to the Customer Service team to enable them to effectively support customer requirements and demand.
  • Review existing processes and system to ensure proficiency e.g., delivery service, email platform.
  • Plan customer service strategy to improve customer experience with Skinnydip to encourage repeat visitors – thinking creatively about ways to optimise all customer experiences.
  • Provide training and guidance to a team of customer service representatives encouraging them to work to the best of their ability whilst delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Monitoring all customer interactions and creating reports analyzing the service that is being provided to customers.
  • Setting individual and team targets for all representatives to help maximize performance
  • Investigate and solve customer’s problems that may be passed on by Customer Service Representatives.
  • Improve customer service procedures, policies and standards in the department and across the business ensuring we are always putting the customer first.
  • Ensure representatives are keeping accurate records of all correspondence with customers and monitoring any trends.
  • Securely recording customer data, ensuring all information & financial records are kept private and secure – where necessary making sure we are GDPR compliant.
  • Ensure we are following communication procedures and guidelines.
  • Being a problem solver to help frustrated customers and to turn their experience into a positive one.
  • Master our internal management system to efficiently and effectively help our customers.

 

What we need from you?

 

  • Experience running a small team of Customer Service Representatives, responsible for their, training and development.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain, Ecommerce, Operations processes and systems.
  • Extensive understanding of Customer Service CRM systems and programmes e.g. Zendesk, Shopify.
  • Outstanding written/email skills; able to write content and communicate in a clear, well-written style in keeping with Skinnydip brand guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills; able to form effective relationships with customers and employees.
  • Additional languages advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively handle all types of customer enquiry from product assistance to complaints.
  • Highly skilled operating with Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a natural ability to be proactive. Previous customer service experience in a range of service areas is desired, a warm and approachable personality, paired with a “can do” attitude. You will have effective conflict resolution skills and must be comfortable with a fast paced and service led environment.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for business – will include but not limited to; product queries, order placing, web support, complaints, sales support, payments.
  • Going above and beyond for customers to improve customer experience with Skinnydip to encourage repeat visitors.
  • Communicating with customers across different platforms including email, live chat and social media.
  • Assisting with sales, refunds and logistic issues.
  • Working with the Customer Success Manager to keep the customer at the heart of the business, promoting customer interests, anticipating their needs, and communicating customer feedback.
  • Maintaining accurate records and noting trends with enquires.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and replenishment of the office.
  • Preparing meeting rooms for external meetings.
  • Front of house (Meet and greet visitors).

 

What we need from you?

  • Experience in resolving customer requests and enquiries is essential.
  • A strong communicator, effectively communicating both verbally and in writing to customers and internal stakeholders in the business.
  • Direct experience in a Head Office environment.
  • Knowledge of a retail business advantageous.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and comfortable prioritising your to-do list.
  • Confidence in navigating multiple I.T systems.
  • Available to work flexible to work shifts when necessary.
